Western Convertible Tote

I designed and created a western inspired t-construction tote bag. It can be carried from the top handle like a brief case, worn on the back like a backpack, or carried by the top of the back pack strap. It features a daisy chain for attaching things to the outside like small pouches, 3D printed buttons, and straps underneath for attaching a water bottle.

I began by creating a mood board for my chosen theme: Western. From there I created many thumbnail sketches. I ended up combining multiple ideas for the final design. I created a pattern with swan and flower motifs and then a mock-up. From my mock-up I revised my patterns. I used thrifted materials for my final design.
